The Blakeley is, ultimately, a place for my very important thoughts and writings.

I started with the idea of focusing on something specific, or at least more specific than “whatever I happen to think about.”

A hobby, interest, sports team, music genre, etc.

That didn’t really pan out. I didn’t and don’t want to feel pigeonholed into writing about one area of life.

Is this even a mission statement? Who knows. I’m not entirely sure you can call it a mission statement if there is no discernible mission.

Maybe just a “first statement.” Accurate but authoritative.
